Hello everyone! I know it seems like I've abandoned you, please know that I haven't, I've just been super busy with work ending, new work starting, and also finishing the first draft of one manuscript and deciding that I needed to do a new edition of my first book 'The Light Rises'. Since I'm writing a series I needed to go back to it for a continuity edit and decided (after about 3 pages) that it needed an overhaul.
So that's what I did.
I bring you all, available now on Smashwords (and soon at other fine digital retailers) the newest edition of "The Light Rises" for $2.99.
A brief overview: When the homicide detective and freelance necromancer, Keagan Gillette, failed to permanently bring his twin sister Maria back from the dead he left London in a bout of guilt and grief. Now roughly two years later he returns home to London in 1890 to find the world has gone on without me. Desperate to start new, he hopes for a life that can be considered as normal as could be when you can communicate with and command the spirits of the dead. That all goes out the window though when he watches a fairly well-dressed man hold his hand up to a lamp and bring a blizzard down on London in the middle of August. Now Keagan must mend the bonds he though he'd severed to stop a biblical apocalypse from destroying all humanity. His companions include a woman who's magic is only surpassed by her ego, a man who is as mysterious as he is loyal to his queen and country, and a young woman who has made a vow to protect all of humanity from darkness. Together they face the Four Horsemen, the Whore of Babylon and her Beast, the two calamities that are set to do battle, angels, and Lucifer himself. Do the four of them have what it takes to prove humanity has a place in the future, or will they fall to their own demons?
