So I joined this group because my story I'm working on is called the Zeppelin Odyssey and I was wondering, what is your favorite way to fly in the Steampunk-verse? I'd love to hear your opinions on…Continue

Hey, i'm Juniper, first mate on the Last Truth, the pirate airship. I am planning to write a book about the adventures of captain smith and his fierce crew of airship pirates, and I am still working on the story. I'd be glad to hear some input and ideas, inspiration and critics to my book. Pleasure meeting you all :)

Hi Juniper,

I write fantasy, but have been thinking of doing a steampunk tale.

Sweet! I usually write fantasy too :D I started lots and lots of novels, but never finished a single one /: Since I am very in love with steampunk, my fantasies and stories drift towards airships and gearworks. I am trying to combine all my ideas in one amazing story, or maybe two if the first turns out well ;) :D

Should I ever get my story off of the ground there will be airships involved. Some adventures will take place from the Pacific NW to the Gulf of Alaska and the Bering Sea. How these airships navigate safely through extreme weather conditions will be a concern of mine. Meanwhile I'm still working in canneries, this time in King Cove at the end of the Alaska Peninsula. There can be some wild winds out here.

The Jekyll and Hyde of Writing

Writing and rewriting are two sides of the same coin but each takes a different kind of mindset to accomplish. Most folks think of writing when they imagine what writers do; scribbling creative characters, scenes; oozing creativity onto the page into the wee hours of the night.
