Great article and informative. The book I'm currently working on (my first) partly takes place in Texas, albeit a fictional, alternate version of Texas post Civil War. Overall, STEAMED has been great resource and encouragement in putting together my story, so many thanks to you and others who contribute to STEAMED.

Your book sounds wonderful. I wish you the best with it. I am so glad steamed has been helpful. Suzanne Lazear and the other writers of Steamed are such a talented bunch and it's a class act blog and I full agrre it's a marvelous resource for Steampunk writers and readers.
