Illo #3, in progress; this illustrates between my prose. Art has just been pole-axed and dropped Jim. Now she's in the middle of a fight and this action occurs between these words: . Jim saw another ax cut through the air, and Art met it with the one in her hand. She swung her arm back, the heads of the axes catching each other. The man who held the other weapon flew over her head and across the room.
“Art!” Jim yelled when she dropped her ax. Then he saw why. A weaponless slaughter man approached and threw a fist for her face.
