Cass Morris replied to Juniper's discussion Is 'Boneshaker' any good?
"I know Boneshaker and the entire series have gotten a lot of positive hype in the community, but honestly, I was considerably underwhelmed. I went in really wanting to like it, but it just did not deliver for me. I know a lot of others feel…"

Cass Morris replied to Lia Keyes's discussion DEFINING ELEMENTS OF A STEAMPUNK NOVEL?
"I like this definition. It's nice and inclusive, rather than trying to make one kind of steampunk "better" or "truer" or "more authentic" or "worthier" than other kinds."

Cass Morris replied to Jim Placzkiewicz's discussion Plotting...So how's it done anyway?
"I just started using Scrivener for Windows a couple of weeks ago, and it has been so helpful for the way I write -- very piecemeal, lots of notes and character bios, changing my mind constantly about where the plot points need to fall -- the…"

Cass Morris replied to Lia Keyes's discussion Historical Accuracy in Steampunk
"When it comes to this sort of thing, I like to think of the difference between accuracy and authenticity. Not a steampunk example, but this is what the creators of HBO's Rome went for when they were designing and writing that series. The…"

Welcome to the Guild, Cass! I hope you'll be submitting to the anthology! You may also want to keep an eye on the anthology's public face at http://steampunkshakespeare.com, which is more of a marketing arm than anything. Here at the Guild is the insider place. ;)
