Greetings fellow Steampunk enthusiasts! I am an a steampunk artist and author with HCS Publishing. My first novel, "Country in Ruin:1865" is available on Amazon and most retailers.
I'm the proud father of 18 year old fantasy author (JM Lee). The local steampunk group I run in Gloucester Virginia is "Hatton Cross Steampunk: Makers of Fine Accoutrements and Contraptions of False Perception."
What do you hope to find at The Steampunk Writers & Artists Guild?
I hope to find other interesting steampunk novels as well as to get exposure for my novel. Networking with other like-minded people is always a plus.
I really like the photos of your creations: especially the body attachments (eg. the wings, the goggles, etc.) I was wondering, do you have any more pics of your creations? I am interested because I publish The Aether Chronicle (see posts above) and I am trying to find someone who has designed their own weapons/attachments to be a character in a series of stories. If you would be interested, feel free to send me a collection of pics depicting your creations to the following email address: email@example.com.
I apologize! I just realized how long it's been since I've been on SWAG. They may revoke my SWAG card if I'm not careful. :)
I am so happy that you enjoy my crazy contraptions and would be delighted to be a character in your paper. I just downloaded each of the copies and will read them first thing tomorrow. What a wonderful compliment.
I'm in because I drew blueprints for a water ship / aerial / spacecraft, It runs on steam, and utilizes a mechanical energy storage and generation device.Within the vessel is a garden, for entirely self-contained food. The one aspect I haven't entirely worked out is H2O generation, i.e. fuel, or perpetual fuel. The ship also has a gamer's deck, in the event things get dull, or the moment strikes.Happy Sailing,SJSee More
