Introduce yourself!
I'm the Redneck Granola. When not tanning my neck or proffering hemp clothing I enjoy the craft of writing, blogging, blathering, exaggerating and general ballyhoo regarding said endeavors. A sort of dieselpunk/weird western adventure is where I have landed for my bread and butter genre.
I am currently mobile in residential status and facilitate the warping of my two young sons despite my wife's best efforts.
I drink my tea sweet and my wine in large quantities.

What the Wattpad? Making Money from "Free"

wattpad For the love. First they tell me "tree hugging isn't a paid profession," and now writing isn't either? I pick all the wrong careers. Nothing beats sitting in front of a liquid crystal display jamming my fingertips repetitively into alphameric and numeric buttons all day long to create a splay of digital information from here to timbuk-twitter. Working in my pajamas. Rejecting routine hygienics.… Continue

When it comes to ethics, the RedneckGranola is driven by a prime directive -- "stick it to the man." Basically, greed and injustice demand civil disobedience. Thus sneaking food into a movie theater that charges two dollars for popcorn is unethical, while a theater that charges six dollars demands that I sneak in food to support the cause of the globally popcorn-oppressed. Simple. (a 200% markup is business, a 1000% markup is oppression).

But when it comes to the…

I have to admit I'm still new to this site and genre... I've never read a weird west book (yet) if you'd like me to read it... it'd be happy to... just need to know how fast of a turnaround you're looking for...

No problem. I got the message to all members and realized I had simply forgotten about that feature of the ning world. I'll try to post every now and then. Although I tend to get a bit cheeky, so hopefully I won't offend!

I'm in because I drew blueprints for a water ship / aerial / spacecraft, It runs on steam, and utilizes a mechanical energy storage and generation device.Within the vessel is a garden, for entirely self-contained food. The one aspect I haven't entirely worked out is H2O generation, i.e. fuel, or perpetual fuel. The ship also has a gamer's deck, in the event things get dull, or the moment strikes.Happy Sailing,SJSee More
