I look forward to participating the best I can - hopefully I have something to contribute to the group here. I just wrapped up my first draft on a book I have been working on for about a year and taking a break before tackling the editing.

- Thanks Gail. I am finding that regular doses of encouragement very helpful in the writing process. I couldn't believe how many congrats I go just for finishing my first draft! Between my writers group, folks in my writing class, my family, all the folks at my bookstore hangout (yeah, unlike most people, I go to bookstores to write books rather than to buy them) - it all helps keep moving me forward. Or maybe it is just wanting to avoid explaining how I gave up after getting this far...
