Vikings! Cowboys! Steampunk!

I have always had more ambition than sense.  I decided to create an entire alternate history where Vikings colonized North America above the Mason-Dixon, Gearsmen can overcome mortal injuries with their mysterious mechinations, and Union cavalry ride on Steamhorses along the Appalachian trail.  Amidst this amazing world where airships sail through the skies and gaslamps light the cities, I set my first book.In the works are the next book (27K words already), a role-playing game, and a board…See More

Introduce yourself!
I am the meager-selling author of "Shootout at Roulement Ridge." Because I have more ambition than sense, I created a majestic and complex alternate history where steam reigns supreme, Vikings colonized north of the Mason-Dixon (also known as 'civilization'), and Gearsmen can defy death itself with their mechinations. I am a military man and a cynical idealist, and as such I wants you to read my book but am comfortable with the 18 dollars I have made to pay for my Ultra Black Monsters throughout the work week.
What do you hope to find at The Steampunk Writers & Artists Guild?
Steampunk writers, enthusiasts, and inspirations. People to review and read my book (and the ones that follow). Maybe even a character for my next book.
How did you hear about us?
I searched steampunk images and logos through Google and found yours

I'm in because I drew blueprints for a water ship / aerial / spacecraft, It runs on steam, and utilizes a mechanical energy storage and generation device.Within the vessel is a garden, for entirely self-contained food. The one aspect I haven't entirely worked out is H2O generation, i.e. fuel, or perpetual fuel. The ship also has a gamer's deck, in the event things get dull, or the moment strikes.Happy Sailing,SJSee More
