Introduce yourself!
I'm a freelance artist trying to make a name for himself. I spend most of my time either writing or drawing. I just started writing and I hope to combine that writing with my illustrations
What do you hope to find at The Steampunk Writers & Artists Guild?
I hope to expand not only my knowledge, but to also be able to create worlds that surround anything that's steampunk
How did you hear about us?
I heard about this group from a friend that made a post about SWAG

"Brilliant!  Those 2 Egyptian SP books, made my reading list. Perhaps you would consider, "The Purple Rose of Cairo", Woody Allen, as steamworthy.  It has a magic of it's own, and is partially set in an Egyptian…"

Swingjugend

I thought the Swingjugend of WWII would make a fine addition to Steampunk. The Swingjugend rejected the Nazi state, above all because of its ideology and uniformity, its militarism, the 'Führer principle' and the leveling Volksgemeinschaft (people’s community).  http://holocaustmusic.ort.org/politics-and-propaganda/third-reich/swing-kids-behind-barbed-wire/See More

Stewart J Breier replied to Sophie Playle's discussion Body Horror and the Fusion of Man & Machine
"I see postings not necessarily from the age of steam.  In that case, I recommend the sourcebooks for the RPGs Shadowrun and Cyberpunk.  They both involve cyber, though they are set in an SF more 80s-esque, and not steam, though it could be…"
