The book I'm writing is about the journey of a southern gentleman in the U.S Confederacy. With a European education and Tesla-like intellect, he crafts a hybrid airship. Escaping a war torn Confederacy, he discovers a plot by an old rival to twist his secret society's technology for otherworldly domination.

In the course of streamlining my descriptions, I think I've learned something. Don't talk to the reader like they're two years old unless it's a children's book.

I've decided to step back from Dixie Aethernaughts for a little bit before I do the final proofing and such. In the meantime have been working on a supernatural Horror tale. You can see an excerpt of it on my blog.
