"I'm not sure about the logistics 100% - I basically show up where I'm told. ;D If you'd like to PM me your email address, I can put you in contact with the director. (I don't want to spread her info far and wide on the Internet!)"

Literary Opportunity - Steampunk Library Workshop

Greetings! I've lately been corresponding with a lovely librarian from Missouri concerning a paranormal workshop for librarians and educators, and I've just learned that she's organizing a steampunk workshop for next year. Unfortunately, it seems many of the authors she's contacted have not responded. Would anyone here be interested in this opportunity? The workshop will be held in May of 2012. Distance shouldn't be an issue, as I'm currently in New York and will be participating via Skype.…See More

"Congratulations on debut with Random House! Very exciting. Do you have cover art yet? If so, you could upload it here and we'll figure out if it's steampunk-y enough to include in the Members' Book Covers Album on the front page. :)"

Dagmar Avery invited me here, and I'm very glad she did. I tend to be rather shy and retiring, even on the aethernet, so I don't network widely, but - I've been interested in steampunk and various forms of neo-Victorianism for as long as I can remember. I participated in steampunk virtual worlds for a handful of years, and I have a futuristic cyber-Victorian/steampunk zombie romance debuting in October from Random House. It's a pleasure to meet all of you! I look forward to getting to know you!See More

Introduce yourself!
I'm Lia - zombie anthropologist, civil rights activist, and author of the upcoming z-romance DEARLY,DEPARTED. I'm also into chocolate, movies, clockwork girls, and pie.
What do you hope to find at The Steampunk Writers & Artists Guild?
A community - I'm very shy, so although I'm interested in all sorts of things and consider myself part of many different subcultures, I don't tend to network widely. So don't be afraid to say hello!
How did you hear about us?
