In "Fictions of Every Kind," J. G. Ballard wrote: "Everything is becoming science fiction. From the margins of an almost invisible literature has sprung the intact reality of the 20th century."
I have agreed with Ballard for years. But now, based on all of the wondrous creativity I have seen of late, I think everything is becoming Steampunk.
So, I have given up my otherwise dabblings in science fiction per se for Steampunk. And starting in 2013, after I finish this, that, and the other, I shall be writing Steampunk full time. Heaven help us. Hold onto your goggles, hats, and weapons ladies. Steampunk may never be the same. I just hope I don't break anything. Stay tuned.

I know it’s not Steampunk but it is news. I thought you might be interested to know what I’m up to when I’m not creating my novels. Recently, I have taken on Stephen Colbert of The Colbert Report. Why?
