Introduce yourself!
I'm the Chief Editor and Founder at Doctor Fantastique's Show of Wonders, an online and print Steampunk magazine consisting of news and event coverage, interviews, short fiction, poems, and reviews of Steampunk works across all media.

My "practical literary" guide to Steampunk lives at my blog, Free the Princess, and I also have five different novel- or novella-length Steampunk projects currently in the works. Well, four works of fiction and one academic one.
What do you hope to find at The Steampunk Writers & Artists Guild?
A collective of writers and creatives working together to further the retro-futuristic genre we all love.
How did you hear about us?
Through Lia, natch.

Thanks for the welcome, Matthew. It was actually an announcement about the Steampunk Shakespeare collection that drew me here - I'm looking forward to submitting my story. Do you have any guidance in terms of subject - i.e., which plays or characters are you looking for, and which might be already "reserved"? Or is it just "catch as catch can" in terms of submissions? Thanks! - Scott
