Introduce yourself!
Mickey is a short story author who's trying his hand at novel writing. In addition, he's a a freelance thematic consultant, currently working for Dynamite Entertainment on the Hugo-nominated Jim Butcher's The Dresden Files and the ManaPunk RPG. He is also a moderator for www.jimbutcheronline.com, and was chief editor for the Backspace and CHUDStories internet anthologies.

His work has appeared in Mind's Eye Fiction, alongside notables Stephen King, Fred Saberhagen, and Harlan Ellison. All of this is often used by his friends to lasso him to a keyboard, beat him over the head, and yell "WRITE MORE!"

He runs a periodic media review site called Coyote Reviews, whose mandate is to give a honest heads up to whatever crosses his fancy as Stuff That Entertains Him. You can visit the random ramblings at the link below.

Other Items of Note: Spent 16 years as a head of staff with Project A-kon, the longest running animation convention in the US. Chocoholic. Has never been a short order cook (which appears to be a requirement in publishing). BA in Radio/TV/Film and a BS in Sociocultural and Forensic Anthropology, which makes him qualified to make films about people.
