Profile Information

Introduce yourself!
I'm Nicole, 30ish, live in Australia with my husband and our pets. I started my first novel in March 2010, and aim to release it by the end of 2011. I find it a bit hard to classify my novel - it has steampunk elements, but will likely include some dieselpunk elements as well. Overall, the technological aspects of the story are advanced and out of step with the rest of the world.
What do you hope to find at The Steampunk Writers & Artists Guild?
I'd like to be in contact with other writers, exchange opinions and advice, ask questions, and read what other steampunk writers are coming up with.
How did you hear about us?
Through a post on the Brass Goggles forum.

Hiya, Nicole!  I've just uploaded a couple of photos I intend to use on your project.  Though SWAG thought they should be the original, green files, I plan to set them to sepia for the book trailer.  I have a few others of the rainforest I will use in establishing the setting around Uncle Phil's workshop.  I have to do some architectural exploring with the long lens in the coming week to get a good set of images for house and shop footage.  Watch the photos for updates.

Very welcome!  It's been a great point of discussion with my family as we consider photographic and artistic options for the presentation.  I feel a lot of pressure to get this finished since Fornax Rising is already available.  I will send a link as soon as I have it posted.
