Hi everybody. I joined The Steampunk Writers and Artists Guild today. It's great to meet fellow steampunk enthusiasts and writers. I'm a steampunk author from Southern California. My book series is The Post-Apocalyptic Society and I released the first installment this year. For now, it's only available on Amazon.com and Kindle. It started out as a writing experiment and then I completely fell in love with the genre. I'm definitely open minded to new friendships and networking. This looks like a…See More

Introduce yourself!
Hello everyone. I'm a steampunk enthusiast and science fiction fan in general. My book series is called The Post-Apocalyptic Society and the first installment was released this year. I combine steampunk, post-apocalyptic, and dystopian elements together in my book series. In my opinion, many resources can be useful to science fiction writers, including novels, films, video games, comic books, television series, cosplay, and more. I'm a native of Southern California who's always willing to learn about new things.
What do you hope to find at The Steampunk Writers & Artists Guild?
I would love to meet other steampunk and science fiction authors. This should also be a great opportunity to meet other steampunk and science fiction enthusiasts. Being around other science fiction authors should expand my horizons and help me become a better writer. I'm also looking forward to learning more about the steampunk subculture. After all, everyone has their own insights, knowledge, and experiences.

The Strongboy, an adventure in mechanical power

The Strongboy v2.5 bS.J. BreierPhysics: Potential Energy, Kinetic Energy, MA (Mechanical Advantage).1)A weight is dropped.A rope is attached to the weight, which is wound around a turbine. Thus, whenever the weight drops, energy is generated.2)—The weight may be pulled back up, for another drop, thus restoring the potential energy.—In order to make the pull more efficient, a pulley may be introduced on either side of the weight.  A 2 pulley system is MA 2, so 2 of these is MA 4.—Further…See More
