Introduce yourself!
[Now that I've laboriously input my contact information codes, I'm thoroughly exhausted and am able to faint away. Nevertheless, I shall endeavor to complete this taciturn signage!] Known by many names, I am now primarily a newly retired interdimensional voyager (first-class with gold leaves), formerly of Earth (biologically created near the city of Kansas though in the state of Missouri) and now returned, writing my memoirs under the innocent label of The Dream Land trilogy. It is with great interest and admiration that I humbly thank you for allowing me to grace your fine establishment and I look forward to much merriment and steam!
What do you hope to find at The Steampunk Writers & Artists Guild?
To cavort with like minds on matters of utmost importance in the avenues of steampunkdom. As this venue seems rather to be a tavern of scribes and painters, I foresee much collaboration and perhaps, if the fates so deem it possible, much more.
How did you hear about us?
I do believe it was Overbury Ink who provided the suggestion, though if such revelation does O.I. harm, then I shall revoke this statement and plead ignorance and happenstance.

Running out of steam!

Posted on August 31, 2011 at 9:30am 18 Comments

Dear fellow steampunkers, I am nearly overwhelmed by the great number of so-called "social network" venues which I must monitor and, according to custom, interact with on a regular basis. Hence, I've fallen behind and I can't get up!

In all reasonable seriousness, I believe that were I to have in my possession one of those hand-held devices that contain linkage to all of the required communicative resources that are so common on this world, I may be able to better cope. I can't…

A Steampunk Compendium

Ah, good steamfolk, another post the blog!

Indeed, it's not much to vent steam about; merely a chance to pose the opportunity for mirth and merriment, were any dear reader at hand with which to spar. Instead, I suspect the storm caressing the inlets and shores of the eastern coastline, with all attendant catastrophes such as the lack of steam, may have thwarted the masses from joining us in this medium. It's possible, don't you agree?

Being in an all-too fair clime,…

A mere test of the steamblog system. Tarry not if you find impressive entertainments elsewhere.

Thanks all! In the old days the steamtyping device would self-correct. I have manually realigned the data!
