Introduce yourself!
I'm a published author of paranormal romance and romance. I've written various time periods from contemporary to historical with a strong focus on Celtic mythology, as well as futuristic.
My latest book is nonfiction, a cookbook with a variety of teatime recipes, available at Amazon. My cookbook fits in nicely with Steampunk, as I continue to gather glorious research books while my steampunk plot percolates.

Besides writing, I'm a visual artist. You can find my word at Fine Arts America under the name Tambra Nicole Kendall.
What do you hope to find at The Steampunk Writers & Artists Guild?
Fellow authors who love the genre as much as I do. A place to share, support each other and learn in a positive atmosphere.

Here is the link to the lady who made Deeanne Gist's Victorian ensemble. She has some photos that show some of the progress My sewing skills are not at his level. The hat for the day dress is gorgeous.

Victorian Dress: No easy access

Posted on October 6, 2011 at 4:55pm 0 Comments

Many in the romance writing community know historical author, Deeanne Gist purchased a full set of Victorian clothing. She wants her books to be as accurate as possible.

Her clothing came with a 17 minute instruction manual. This article has a video.

I thought this might be helpful to those who were just beginning their research into the era.

Hi Tambra! I'm  glad you found your way here. It's well worth belonging to this group, believe me! I'm enjoying the heck out of it! And thanks for "friending" me. And besides, how could I belong to a group that you weren't in, too! :-)

The Secret Notebook of Michael Faraday, my second novel in the Airship Flamel Advenstures Series is now available!

The book is a prequel to my first novel To Rule the Skies, although I think of it more as just coming first chronologically.  It follows the main character from my previous novel, Nicodemus Boffin, from his boyhood to about a decade before the events in To Rule the Skies. The synopsis:Nicodemus Boffin, a uncommonly clever boy…See More
