This is just a little exercise in rhyming , I like to to practice as often as I can. It 's about a  Semi-Zombified gunslinger  who finds himself sitting in a bar full of locals , in a strange  Steampunk/Western town.

Act I

THE STRANGER            by Zack The Zombie Dude

A long time far from Zombie Street

The rain keeps falling down

I'm stuck inside this Steampunk pub

Strange patrons all around

They're drinking weird concoctions

In the stillness of the air

Their arms move on occasion

But sit lifeless in their chairs

I want to ask a question

Or Start conversation

Just a simple comment or

Exchange some information

But I dare not say a word

Or move to quick to see

That everybody in here

Is staring right at me.

Part II

I saw her at the bar

Her hair looked soft and sleek

As she turned around real slowly

With her slim but strong physique

Her eyes hung in the shadows

Beneath the brim of her black hat

She glanced in my direction

Then starred precisely where I sat

With Her hips adorn with pistols

And a blade strapped to her thigh

She slowly cantered towards me

Although I can’t imagine why

As their eyes were growing wide

And their jaws began to drop

All the men watched her glide

To my table, where she stopped

Then she placed her hand so softy

Drawing back one of the chairs

She asked if she could sit

I answered," I don't care"

She didn't say a word

But leaned a far as she was able

Reaching for the bottle

That was there upon the table

She belted back a shot

Then handed it to me

"Have a drink on me stranger

By the way, they call me B"

You could’ve even heard a pin

Dropping, pins in that dam place

As the air was getting thicker

And shock, crossed every face

She took the bottle back

To take another sip

As her other hand reached down

To the colt strapped to her hip

Her eyes moved side to side

As to signal me of danger

Then whispered very softly

"hope you shoot straight, stranger."
