Looking to get more into steampunk for 2012? Tor.com has included 32 events in its round-up of upcoming events, including several outside the United States. Pop over to see the complete list!

I'd love a volunteer to add these to our events tab -- any takers?

Before the Adventure, came the Voices

Goaded into adventure by an old friend, writer Julian Turleau invites a young inventor and his wife into his home. Their goal? Invent the first wireless communications and make their mark on world history. When fear and jealousy collide with excited pride, all hell breaks loose amidst their…

The Electricians are Coming!

Reading up on the Swedish author August Strindberg (1849-1912). In the late 1890s he suffered a mental breakdown and during this period he was convinced that he was threathened by an unknown group of "electricians, black magicians, and wizards". Voidships "Winter" update

I hope you had as nice a New Year celebration as you wished for.

Over on my main Voidships blog I have added the second installment about how the script for Winter evolved from a rejected pitch to the BBC (yes I was invited to pitch to the BBC) to the final web series script.
