Assuming I could buffer that some with technology and science fiction, I set out to write a work of Steam punk/ science fantasy. I determined, at first, to make the machines the focus instead of characters. Originally, I was going to have only two main characters, but it didn't stay that way for long. I've…

curious about steam punk purity

I've finished writing my novel. I'm somewhat worried that it may not be received well by the Steam Punk crowd. The first half is very much Steampunk-ish but in the second half it becomes hard scifi fantasy with future tech. I'm not apologetic but am curious about other's input.

The Secret Notebook of Michael Faraday, my second novel in the Airship Flamel Advenstures Series is now available!

The book is a prequel to my first novel To Rule the Skies, although I think of it more as just coming first chronologically.  It follows the main character from my previous novel, Nicodemus Boffin, from his boyhood to about a decade before the events in To Rule the Skies. The synopsis:Nicodemus Boffin, a uncommonly clever boy…See More
