Reading up on the Swedish author August Strindberg (1849-1912). In the late 1890s he suffered a mental breakdown and during this period he was convinced that he was threathened by an unknown group of "electricians, black magicians, and wizards". Wonderful stuff there for a writer. Like in this quote from "Excerpts from the Diary of a Damned Man":
