The Steampunk Writers & Artists Guild is born!

Thank you for joining The Steampunk Writers & Artists Guild, which is dedicated to furthering the development of the genre as a whole, and the interests of its members.

The success of a venture like this depends on the quality and passion of the membership, so I hope you will take a moment to add our badge to the side margin of your blogs and tweet vociferously until word gets out. I'd like to see a hot rush in the number of new members in the early days, and any ideas for how you think we can achieve that would be gratefully received. Contests? Celebrity members?

Let's put our heads together and make this happen!

In the meantime, pick up a badge, customize it to suit your taste, and add it to your blog. You can find it on the main page, or follow this LINK.

All the best to you,

Lia Keyes

Thank you so much, Stephen! The enthusiasm of our members has been astonishing. We have some interesting plans for 2012 - an annual writing challenge, an annual award, and perhaps an anthology!

"Yes Gwen, that can make it challenging. But if this seems to be your cup of tea but you don't want to interrupt your beauty rest, you can always download it and listen to it afterwards. :)"
