Hi Tim, Thanks for the welcome! I do write, actually! I'm not published yet, but I'm on the second draft of my first novel. It's a steampunk fantasy. (or perhaps gaslight or one of the other subgenres, I'm really unsure about precise classifications!) That sounds like a great mission in life you have! If you don't mind me asking, have you published anything? Or is it that you're in the process, too? -Kathy
Thanks Renee, The picture is vintage as oppossed to staged. I'm an old geizzer you know! :) I've never attended a steampunk convention though now I may just have to do that. I do read and enjoy a great deal of the genre and since I write, I felt a near desperate need to do a steampunk novel.
Thank you! When I'm at that stage, I will certainly keep you and your imprints in mind. It may be a while before I'm sticking my toes near those waters, though!
I have noted the gorgeous works that the cover artists of this site produce. There's definitely a lot on S.W.A.G. to look at! I intend to participate in the forums a good bit, so I might just see you there. : )

I'm in because I drew blueprints for a water ship / aerial / spacecraft, It runs on steam, and utilizes a mechanical energy storage and generation device.Within the vessel is a garden, for entirely self-contained food. The one aspect I haven't entirely worked out is H2O generation, i.e. fuel, or perpetual fuel. The ship also has a gamer's deck, in the event things get dull, or the moment strikes.Happy Sailing,SJSee More
