I don't ever actually say Howdy Y'All, but that alone is no better reason to say it, IMHO.
Hello! I am a playwright and etc. (emphasis on etc.). For the past couple of years, I have been working on a steampunk epic adventure radio series! The Threads of Time is a three-parter serial tale up at my website www.threadsofadventure.com (threadsoftime.com was taken; go figure). I am also currently working on a novelization of said series, up at the companion blog for the series (http://talesoftheseamstress.weebly.com, there is a link to this from the series website but there have been problems with the link from time to time). I hope to eventually get the novel self-published, and the series itself up on iTunes; just as soon as I figure out the technical details...Although I'm not good at technical details. I even had trouble getting a profile pic up on this site. :(
But I love steampunk. Love it! I found out about it five years ago and, YES. This was ME. Everything I loved tied up in one crazy-quilted stitched-together-with-bits-of-copper-wire-and-awesome-fabric-you-found-at-the-thrift-store package of goodness. I love the imagination it sparks in people, I love where it takes you. And, I look pretty hot in goggles, if I do say so myself. :)
I also get carried away talking! Enough about me; I post on Twitter (@gamboliers) and Facebook (The Trusty Gamboliers) if you want to hear me yak. So, what about YOU? I'm gonna check it all out. I want to meet all you lovely folks!
Welcome, Rebecca. Good luck with the novel and the radio series.
Welcome! I just followed you on Twitter. I don't stop by this forum near so much as I should, but I find something new and amazing every time I do. I hope you meet a ton of great people and exchange windy, cog-driven ideas with these goggle-wearing folk!
