What are you currently working on? Steampunk, Dieselpunk, Gaslight Mystery/Romance, NeoVictorian, Paranormal, alternative history?

Are you creating a world only flavored with Victorian mores and manners, or working closely with Victorian history, but subverting it?

Currently writing what I suspect could be called Deiselpunk, but probably works just as well being called Alternative History.

Doing a story set in World War 2 where scientists experiment with creating the ultimate soldier. In nature, some humans are created who are suceptible to weakness or illness or who have conditions that make them perhaps frail, but nature also produces the freaks who are human+. When the British army finds one of these, he is altered and sent on the ultimate mission, but as he travels he changes and becomes something else.

Still in progress, but it's kinda fun =]

I finally got the new book up and running. And since I wanted to try something different to introduce it, I decided to let my over the top, serio-comic villain be the official spokesperson. You can see it here:

Just posted the third book in my FALCON LORD TRILOGY: ESCAPE FROM THE SKOOKUMCHUCK, steampunk fantasy; subverted American Victorian Era: http://lightmasters.net/?page_id=1002

I am working on a post-apocalyptic,  weird west, native-steam/steam-gypsy style story set in 2113 after a great plague has wiped out nearly 4/5's of the worlds population,  least effected some of the native cultures from around the world (native american being key at least in the first book), who apparently faced the plague some time in the distant past and have a built in immunity.  I am calling them "Anasazi Desert Chronicles" ~  {(CC) 2013 by M. Morria Nickles}

This world is  set up as a recreation of the old west but in 2113.  It has a mix of Victorian, Post-Apocalyptic/Homesteader, and Native Cultures manors and mores...

This is the fourth mystery in my Pat O'Malley Historical Steampunk series.  I have finally plunged my sleuth into the world of The Steam City Pirates.  Any comments/suggestions about my first three chapters are appreciated.

I write short (40K) mysteries.  My book series web site is here.

I am currently working on a Stephen King horror pastiche called The Black Museum; a poetry collection called Themes For An Ending; a gaslamp fantasy / steampunk novel called Saguenay; a collection of my first drafts, notes and fragmentary stories in which I try to explain some of my ideas; a second volume incorporating things I have posted on my Wordpress site; and various other bits and pieces.
