My novel, Beneath Gray Skies, has had pretty good reviews on Amazon, etc. and features a pretty realistic Zeppelin - the Bismarck (based on a mix of LZ127 and LZ129). It's more alternate history than steampunk, more heliumpunk I suppose, but it does have a real appeal to steampunk readers.

It's available as a free download in a variety of ebook formats from my site or from Smashwords. The print version is available from different Amazons (links on the site).

My small press, Shadow Archer Press, has just released the steampunk issue of the magazine we've produced for three years. Steampunk Fissure offers 10 short stories, 6 poems and one non-fiction piece. More info available on the website. I am currently at work on a steampunk Neo-Victorian adventure novel and my magical realism novel, Shaman Circus, was published by ATTM Press and is available on Amazon. I have had a number of dark fantasy, magical realism and gothic horror short stories published over the years, and my first steampunk story, The Foxglove Broadsides, will appear in the anthology, Clockwork Chaos.

Hello, fellow punks of steam!  I thought I'd pop in and add another bit to The Emporium.  I have been working diligently on taking a stab at being an editor, and welcome any and all inquiries.  Have you finished a book recently and just need a second set of eyes?  Are you mid-way through and find yourself stuck?  Please let me know!  I'd be glad to proofread or offer more substantive editing services, as you require them.  You can find my editing blog at http://jhuffman.weebly.com!

Huzzah fellow Steamfolk.  I've just joined the Emporium and wanted to pass along a link to my ongoing steampunk blog experiment where I'm developing the property "Frahnknshtyne" as an open work for the steampunk community to come and view the art and a bit of the narrative as it is in progress.  So far the experiment (like most good steampunk inventions) has huffed and chugged along picking up speed and international interest.  Would love any feedback or comments.  I've just posted the first of the environment paintings showing a place called "the slums of travaille."  There's many more images there as well.

I'm in because I drew blueprints for a water ship / aerial / spacecraft, It runs on steam, and utilizes a mechanical energy storage and generation device.Within the vessel is a garden, for entirely self-contained food. The one aspect I haven't entirely worked out is H2O generation, i.e. fuel, or perpetual fuel. The ship also has a gamer's deck, in the event things get dull, or the moment strikes.Happy Sailing,SJSee More
