Reading up on the Swedish author August Strindberg (1849-1912). In the late 1890s he suffered a mental breakdown and during this period he was convinced that he was threathened by an unknown group of "electricians, black magicians, and wizards". Wonderful stuff there for a writer. Like in this quote from "Excerpts from the Diary of a Damned Man":

This is a photo of an "automatic restaurant" in Stockholm in 1905. If anyone knows anything about this kind of restaurant I'd like to learn more. It seems they were quite popular one hundred years ago.
