When I first started writing, I mean seriously writing, steam punk grabbed a hold of me. When I began the novel, my intention was to make it steam punk through and through, but the science fiction and fantasy nerd came out in me. I've finished writing my novel. I'm somewhat worried that it may not be received well by the Steam Punk crowd. The first half is very much Steampunk-ish but in the second half it becomes hard scifi fantasy with future tech. I'm not apologetic but am curious about other's input.
