The long poem "The Air-Midshipman's Primer Song" may also be read at Net Advance of Physics Retro where other recent additions of Steampunk interest include We Go Home by the Water, Says Bryan O'Lynn (featuring an 1833 editorial by a pro-technology Irish radical) and No Moving Parts
about an atomic theory popular with chemists in the 1910s and '20s, according to which atoms are motionless cubes.
