Literary Award Shortlist for "Ether Frolics"

It was a nice surprise to learn this week that my short story collection, Ether Frolics, was short-listed for a major Canadian literary award:

It's pretty unusual for steampunk to turn up on a mainstream literary award, so it was doubly unexpected. The winner of the $10,000 prize will be announced in June.

Thanks!

The book just became available in e-book format today, too:

Hi Gwen - I know Kobo sometimes has excerpts of books, but there doesn't seem to be one for Ether Frolics. I suppose it's possible that there's no excerpt because of it being a collection of short-stories, if the usual sample size is such that an entire story would be placed on-line as the excerpt?

This downloadable radio play:

is based on one of the short stories in the collection, so it gives some idea of what the stories are like. Mind you, "The Resident Member" is the most comical story in the collection, so that should be borne in mind when taking it as a sample.
