Hello everyone! I am curious as to which writing software seems to be the best. Also, I have looked at many writing apps for the IPad when I'm on the run. I have Scrivener installed on my Mac and am still learning how to use it. How I sure miss my old Typwriter! I would like to know what you think.... Which is the best at being able to sync through Dropbox and the cloud? Help Please??

I use GoodNotes and a stylus on my iPad. My writing is better when I force myself to slow down to the pace my hand is able to keep, when I am writing words out by hand, rather than typing them. If I type, I tend to go too fast, chase long trails of text that are terribly unrefined, and generally ramble. Typing is so easy, extraneous words fill my pages, and editing time takes longer. I hate writing by hand. So, forcing myself to do it forces me to choose my words carefully, because I do not want to expend the effort required to push the pen (or stylus) across more paper (or surface) than I have to.

Obviously, most writing is eventually typed. Writing by hand is an advantage, here, too, because when I transcribe my handwritten notes, prose, dialogue, etc. I edit as I go. It never hurts to have another round of edits.

I recommend GoodNotes, because it works very well, and it syncs with Dropbox - a function in which you specifically mentioned interest. Best of luck to you!
